About the Artist

Born in 1981, Xoner is an artist known for integrating classicism and classical modernism with a generative approach in his art. He lives and works in Hamburg, Germany, using a variety of techniques, with watercolor and oil painting being among his favorites. In addition to his work with graphite and colored pencils, his creative exploration spans ceramic, printmaking, and sculptural works, highlighting his versatility.

Xoner's artwork often features compelling subjects such as female nudes, intricate self-portraits, and both real and imaginatively interpreted impressions of his surroundings. These themes reveal his deep engagement with the human form and his environment.

In 2006, Xoner introduced the term "stonewatercolor" to describe his distinctive and highly fired tile paintings, further pushing the boundaries of his artistic expression.
